The CCM Tacks AS-V Pro Skates feature CCM’s exclusive One-Piece Boot Power technology, which provides superior energy transfer and a closer fit, combined with a carbon construction to support the most intense skating strides that a player can deliver. This skate is built for strength and power while being extremely lightweight.
Inside the Tacks AS-V Pro, a TotalDri Pro + with Polygiene liner offers a high-performance moisture wicking material that keeps feet dry and skates light, with superior protection against odor, wear, and rubbing. Multi-density memory foam ankle pads with Seamless Comfort finish wrap anatomically around your foot for a customized fit and ultimate comfort. The new PowerFlex tendon guard also improves your range of motion for fuller strides and increased skating power. Lastly, this skate comes standard with a molded OrthoLite UltraLite insole with an added heel grip for ultra-lightweight comfort and superior support.
A replaceable, asymmetrical multi-layer Metatomic tongue (XS System) with 7mm felt and embedded D30 smart material offer a better wrap and ultimate protection. More tongue options can be explored with the XS Tongue System here.
Attached to the bottom of the skate is the SpeedBlade XS System, a quick-release holder with an integrated lock-dial that can be used to change runners in between shifts, making sure you never miss any ice time. Coupled with the XS holder is STEP BlackSteel for a premium polish and carbon-coating.
